Two important parts of a complete ethical theory are moral transformation and moral faith. An ethical theory needs an account of how we can be morally transformed into a good person; it must actually be possible to lead a moral life. And we need an explanation of how it is that leading a moral life is actually conducive to our own happiness; we need moral faith.
